3. Design: Prototyping Solutions

The design phase brought ideas to life through iterative creation and refinement.

  • Crazy 8 Ideation: Used rapid sketching techniques to generate diverse ideas for the app's features and interface.

  • Wireframing: Created low-fidelity wireframes to define the app's structure, layout, and user flow.

  • High-Fidelity Prototypes: Designed polished, interactive prototypes to showcase the visual and functional aspects of the app.

  • Design System: Developed a cohesive design system with consistent typography, color schemes, and UI components.

4. Deliver: Testing and Validation

The project concluded with usability validation and refined solutions.

  • Usability Testing: Conducted tests with users to evaluate the prototype's functionality, clarity, and satisfaction.

  • Iterative Refinements: Improved the design based on feedback to address usability issues and enhance the user experience.

  • Testing Methods: Used techniques like card sorting to refine the app's navigation and information architecture.

Although the project reached the high-fidelity prototype stage, the robust process ensured a validated solution ready for development. This user-centric approach demonstrates the potential of Carify to simplify car-buying for young adults.
